How the Task Completion Counter Works

The Task Completion Counter adds 1 for each task you finish and compares the completed count with the planned count for the day or project.

  1. Set planned tasks: Enter how many tasks you plan to finish, such as 12.
  2. Tap when done: Tap after you finish each task.
  3. Track progress: The progress bar shows the percent of planned tasks done.
  4. Review the rate: See tasks per hour and the estimated finish time.

Task Completion Counter Formula

The Task Completion Counter completion rate equals completed tasks divided by planned tasks, multiplied by 100.

Completion (%) = Done ÷ Planned × 100 | Throughput = Done ÷ Hours

About the Task Completion Counter

A Task Completion Counter is a productivity tally that counts finished tasks against a plan. The tool measures throughput, the number of tasks done per unit of time.

Counting done tasks, not hours spent, gives a direct output measure. Agile teams use the same idea when they track items completed per sprint, known as throughput.
