How the Gym Check-In Counter Works

The Gym Check-In Counter tallies member arrivals at the front desk and groups them by hour, so staff see the busiest training times. One tap records one arrival.

  1. Open at the desk: Place the tablet or phone at the front desk.
  2. Tap per arrival: Tap once as each member checks in.
  3. Split by type: Use buttons for members, guests and class attendees when needed.
  4. Review the hourly chart: The tool shows arrivals per hour for the day.

Gym Check-In Counter Formula

The Gym Check-In Counter visit frequency equals total check-ins divided by active members for the period.

Visits per member = Check-ins ÷ Active members | Peak share = Peak hour check-ins ÷ Daily check-ins × 100

Example: A gym with 800 members logs 2,400 check-ins in 1 month. Visits per member = 2,400 ÷ 800 = 3.0 per month.
