How the Batch Entry Counter Works
The Batch Entry Counter adds several items in one entry by letting you type or pick a quantity before you tap Add. Each entry is stored as 1 batch with its own quantity.
- Enter the quantity: Type the batch size, such as 18, or pick a preset like 6, 12 or 24.
- Tap Add: The counter adds the quantity to the total and logs the batch.
- Repeat for each batch: Change the quantity for mixed batches or keep it fixed for identical ones.
- Review the batch list: See each batch, the number of batches and the grand total.
Batch Entry Counter Formula
The Batch Entry Counter total equals the sum of every batch quantity. The average batch size equals the total divided by the number of batches.
- Qty(b)
- Quantity of batch b
- Batches
- Number of entries made
Example: Batches of 12, 18, 9 and 21 items give a total of 12 + 18 + 9 + 21 = 60 items. The average batch is 60 ÷ 4 = 15 items.

About the Batch Entry Counter
A Batch Entry Counter is a counter that records grouped quantities as single entries. The tool speeds up counting when items arrive in groups of different sizes.
A batch log keeps more detail than a plain total. The list shows how many groups arrived, the size of each group and the average group size, which helps spot short or overfilled batches.
